I am both a highly specialized laboratory technician (molecular biology, biochemistry and physical chemistry), and published academic researcher using physical models to better understand chemical relationships. My opinions are my own. My goal is to drive product development (molecular modeling, QM using GAMESS), and may increase quality control standards (using; MATLAB, python, or R) of collected laboratory analysis data, leading everyone to better understand wet lab results, make predictions, and ascertain efficiency of protocols using quantitative and qualitative measures. I have worked in a radionucelotide lab, and am capable of Western Blot analysis, DNA restriction enzyme mapping, protein analysis and other QC needs related to insuring non-contamination of cell culture through (RT-PCR, histochemical beaded columns, Sephadex, etc.) based upon good laboratory practices and current good manufacturing protocols/procedures that ensure aseptic technique. Within the current Good Manufacturing Practice workspace, two biologics from initial phase II pipeline products to full commercialization production of 20k liter scale cell culture production within a strict, world class cGMP facility. Regulatory activities include on-the-floor GMP space audits of the following agencies; eight FDA audits and four European Medicine Agency audits; including two Brazilian Health Regulatory Agency (ANVISA) audits and two Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency of Japan audits that were mainly document review with audit viewings of GMP activities for two separate biologics (both cleared, leading to "blockbuster" status products). Current role audits consist of a documental review approach for the FDA, which may have included visual tour(s) for a cleared clinical therapeutic product. My ideal goal would be to merge my love of physical chemistry, and through using its predictive modeling, to further understanding of wet bench results, via; cell culture, organic reaction, outside laboratory, or literature review all in the assistance of product development. I am capable of analyzing large datasets statistically and rationally; including genomic data, thermochemical data tables, analyzing raw instrument data (NMR, Mass Spec using self-developed MATLAB coding).
