“What would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail?” Robert H. Shuller══ LEADER ══To me, nothing is better than working with a team of people who are focused on the clients and their needs, and who are willing to work together for the betterment of the client while having fun doing it. I find it very rewarding to work with outstanding people, and I’m very fortunate to always have been able to do so, especially now. People are what makes a company special, and seeing my teams succeed and having fun doing it really inspires me. I truly believe that working in a team is the only way to be effective in the banking business.Growing up on a farm in a small, rural farming community in Western Iowa taught me the value of hard work. I learned that I am responsible for my own outcomes and results. Despite this, I’ve also learned that I can accomplish more, get greater satisfaction, and experience longer term success by collaborating and partnering with others. I really enjoy coaching my teams and guiding them. My approach to coaching is to help people identify the problem, ask lots of questions to uncover the root cause of the problem, and guide to create the solution. I’ve realized that when a person comes up with the solution, he/she is more likely to implement and stay with it. I support my teams and given them the freedom to make their own decisions, challenging them to get better every day, and clearing obstacles that get in their way.My leadership style is collaborative, supportive, and inclusive. The best way to make a decision is not to dictate things but to include the person in finding the most appropriate solution. I can share my experience with others and look at their situations from a different point of view. Every person can bring to the table different points of view. That’s why I believe collaboration is so crucial for any business.Besides work, I’m an avid golfer, reader, and learner. I love listening to podcasts, especially the Science of Success podcast. I am fascinated by how amazing and complex the mind is and really enjoy learning more about it. ✉ bryanj@privatewealth.com☎ (402) 250-8424Private Wealth Asset Management | Leadership | Investment Management | Investment Advisor | Financial Advisor | Portfolio Management | Investments | Wealth Planning | Resource Consolidation | Training & Development | Business Succession | Estate Planning | Fiduciary Banking | Financial Planning | Wealth | Planning | Management | Financial Markets | High-net-worth Banking | Custom Banking Solutions | Coaching & Mentoring |

Chief Executive Officer And Founding MemberPrivate Wealth Asset Management Sep 2021 - Jan 2024Cedar Rapids, Iowa, UsAs Chief Executive Officer at Private Wealth Asset Management, I am dedicated to further develop our firm’s commitment to local service and people-focused culture.══ COLLABORATOR ══ I’m very honored and proud to be part of a brand-new company that is so thoroughly dedicated to its clients, its people, and its culture. I believe in our people and how extraordinary they are. Our camaraderie and ability to provide people with truly personalized, local service is one of my top priorities to continue, whether we stay a smaller company or become a huge company. As the CEO, my biggest responsibility is to make sure the business of private wealth operates efficiently and effectively. For this, I’m focusing on the culture of the company and that people stay with it, that they do what they say they’re going to do, and that they hire the right person that fits with the company’s culture more so than hiring just top-producers. This is crucial to the company’s development. Without the right fit of people, the efficiency and effectiveness of the company will dwindle. I will also direct my efforts toward helping all employees and owners to continue to grow as individuals. That will be done through training, education, and succession planning. It’s important to me that our organization’s morale is high and that everyone stays engaged and working with their clients. ══ SPECIALTIES ══ Private Wealth Asset Management | Leadership | Investment Management | Investment Advisor | Financial Advisor | Portfolio Management | Investments | Wealth Planning | Resource Consolidation | Training & Development | Business Succession | Estate Planning | Fiduciary Banking | Financial Planning | Wealth | Planning | Management | Financial Markets | Local Banking | High-net-worth Banking | Custom Banking Solutions | Coaching & Mentoring | -
Real Estate InvestorJ'S - 4 - Hawks, Llc Sep 2021 - Jan 2024I have decided to jump into the real estate business by investing in commercial and residential real estate, primarily in the Arizona and Nebraska, two states I feel like I know and understand. I loved my long tenure at Wells Fargo and met so many incredible people. I am so grateful. But now, I am moving on to a new endeavor and hope for success (and good luck!) -
Regional Managing DirectorWells Fargo Mar 2001 - Sep 2021San Francisco, California, UsAs Regional Managing Director at Wells Fargo Bank, I successfully managed the Private Wealth business in Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas and portions of Illinois and Missouri.══ FOCUSED ══ In my 20+ year tenure at Wells Fargo, I had the opportunity to lead teams of professionals from multiple lines of business who attracted, retained, and grew our client base. We did this by helping clients understand their goals and issues, creating an action plan to match their goals to the proper products, and then providing the clients with exceptional service, staying with them and advising them throughout their financial lives.I worked with a great team, and I really enjoyed the camaraderie and great team work we had. It made working even more fun. I really appreciated the collaboration among our teams, and I firmly believe that led to my successful career there. I believe that lone rangers may experience success early on, but they soon fade out. To me, our team mentality helped us immensely. At Wells Fargo, I learned to solve my own problems by being asked lots of questions to uncover root problems, what the causes of those problems were, and what the right solution should be. We were fortunate to have a group of executive coaches that guided us through this process, and I took the same approach when working with my teams. To this day, collaboration is a significant characteristic of my leadership roles. ══ SPECIALTIES ══ Private Wealth Asset Management | Leadership | Investment Management | Investment Advisor | Financial Advisor | Portfolio Management | Investments | Wealth Planning | Resource Consolidation | Training & Development | Business Succession | Estate Planning | Fiduciary Banking | Financial Planning | Wealth | Planning | Management | Financial Markets | Local Banking | High-net-worth Banking | Custom Banking Solutions | Coaching & Mentoring | -
