As part of the bank’s workout team I helped maximise recoveries to distressed or bankrupt counterparties held in the credit portfolio of JP Morgan.The role included-•Valuation work using fundamental analysis•Negotiation of new capital structures, equity splits and facility documents •Evaluation of the risks in new money requests from distressed portfolio companies•Evaluation of financial documents such as the Intercreditor and Facility Agreement and discussion of key issues with external counsel, financial advisors & syndicate.
