Graduate Program Associate The program associate provides support to the MSU Entrepreneurship Center (E-Center) under the Office of Entrepreneurship and Technology Transfer (OETT), under the supervision of the program manager. The associate will help the office achieve its mission to grow a culture of entrepreneurship campus-wide, with emphasis on generating interest and engaging students from the Bagley College of Engineering to pursue entrepreneurial activities. The program associate will also help to manage the start-up portfolio at MSU and directly engage with start-ups to guide them through the pipeline. Finally, the program associate looks for new strategic opportunities to support the above initiatives, in addition to unexplored potential concepts. Primary Responsibilities: - Meet with and assist in managing inflow of new and existing student entrepreneurs - Schedule and meet students as they come into the E-Center - Identify stage of company and assist entrepreneur develop plan & milestones - Identify resources within scope of E-Center and MSU that can help start-up - Guidance with preparation of presentations, etc - Assist start-up companies in development of business models - Assist as required with the Jack Hatcher Engineering Entrepreneurship Program - Assistance with grading and class records - Help with student issues as required - Explore ways to connect program students with rest of the E-Center - Track students and start-ups in Pipedrive software; regularly update - Oversee OETT’s interests within the mechanical engineering department’s prototype lab - Assist the coordinator with duties vital to development of MSU start-up companies - Research opportunities to grow competitiveness of the program - Promote the overall mission of the Entrepreneurship Center - Provide written and verbal feedback to the director of OETT

I am working with my partners to develop new friction stir welding technologies and also guiding our business development for the upcoming debut of our first product.

I am preparing proposals for new student entrepreneurial outreach programs and helping new start-ups, as well as our own, develop in their early stages.

I worked for Dr. Judy Schneider's research group conducting material testing to support graduate student's research on the Friction Stir Welding process.

I assisted the production engineer at the Columbus assembly plant by writing repair procedures and set up a digital catalog of previous repairs to improve turnaround on repairs.

My official title was helicopter power plant repair technician (15B30). I worked on all the army helicopter's engines including the T700 and T55.
