I was the IT development manager at Linklaters from 1985 to 1994. I then moved to Lovells before joining Clifford Chance in 1996 where I held a number of senior IT/IS roles, including responsibility for global e-billing projects from 2004 until December 2007. From 2008 have worked as an e-billing consultant on a number of successful projects and advised on key aspects of developments in the billing of legal services and legal spend management. When e-billing is implemented in an efficient and cost effective way it will benefit both the law firm and the client and enhance/add value to the relationship.Specialties: I have the knowledge and experience to assist clients and law firms deal with the issues, often non-technical, that are causing difficulties and frustrations in their legal spend management/e-billing projects. I have a wide knowledge of the standards, the e-billing vendors and the regulatory/compliance issues impacting e-billing initiatives.
