Kabul, Afghanistan

Served as the medical director for a multi-national conglomerate that provided training, mentoring and system development assistance to senior government executives. Routinely advised camp director and area director on issues of medical operations that impacted strategic goals. Provided preventative, routine, urgent and emergent medical care for an established international adult population on a 24 hours/7days a week basis. Constructed, exercised, and validated a medical disaster response plan that required activation during tenure.

1St Squadron, 17Th Cavalry Regiment, 82Nd Combat Aviation Brigade, Fort Bragg, N

Served as the squadron physician assistant and flight surgeon for a Kiowa helicopter squadron both in Fort Bragg and Jalalabad Airfield, Afghanistan. Responsible for the routine, urgent and emergent care of assigned Soldiers. Responsible for evaluation and safety of the aviation medicine program for the unit. Provided point of injury and enroute critical care transport on the Army Helicopter Ambulance (DUSTOFF) Platform.

82Nd Combat Aviation Brigade

Served as the Brigade Surgeon for the Rear Detachment at Fort Bragg, NC. Responsible for routine, urgent and emergent medical care for Soldiers that were medically or administratively unable to deploy. Responsible for preparing Narrative Summaries for over 100 medical separation cases. Served as the Flight Surgeon/Medical Officer for a safety investigation that involved the crash and loss of an OH-58 Helicopter on Fort Bragg, NC.

3Rd Squadron, 73Rd Cavalry Regiment, 1St Brigade Combat Team, 82Nd Airborne Div

Served as the Squadron Physician Assistant both at Fort Bragg, NC and at CSC Scania, Iraq. Provided routine, urgent, emergent and preventative medical care. In Iraq provided medical technical direction to a team of 26 combat medics and provided oversight to a humanitarian pediatric burn clinic.
