As part of my experience, I have participated in audit engagements for both listed and private companies, as well as an engagement with HSBC Funds. My specialisation lies in the pharmaceutical, real estate, and manufacturing sectors.In these engagements, my responsibilities included reviewing accounting schedules and drafted financial statements. I also proposed audit adjustments and effectively communicated various audit issues with clients to ensure a clear understanding of the findings.Additionally, I conducted assessments of internal controls to ensure that the design, implementation, and monitoring of controls were adequate and effective. This involved evaluating the internal control systems of the companies and providing recommendations for improvement if necessary.To support audit findings, I conducted industry research by collecting market data and performing qualitative and quantitative analysis of factors relevant to the specific sectors. This helped in understanding industry trends and providing valuable insights during the audit process.Furthermore, I performed financial analysis, including trend and ratio comparisons, to identify potential irregularities or anomalies in financial reporting. This analysis facilitated the detection of any discrepancies or areas requiring further investigation.Overall, my experience encompasses a range of responsibilities in audit engagements, including financial statement review, internal control assessment, industry research, and financial analysis, all aimed at ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial reporting.
