My role is to lead a team of technical staff to maximise the efficiency of sophisticated container-handling equipment and systems. I am also responsible for managing the maintenance of quay cranes within the department, including handling technical staffs’ schedules, drafting incident and breakdown reports and presentations, liaising with other departments and external companies to coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance jobs, and to be on-call 24/7 to response to breakdowns at site. In addition, I am expected to conduct and lead cross-disciplinary projects to improve quay crane design and follow-up on quay crane breakdowns investigations by utilising CAD software and simulation tools.

• Conducted research into and worked on the development of advanced water treatment solutions (Counter Flow Reverse Osmosis, Hollow fiber membrane testing, Salt diffusivity, Miniature pump setups, Water filtration systems)• Performed data analysis and research using mathematical models derived from research papers and thermodynamic principles• Executed independent lab work with filtration pump setups, with frequent presentations and reports on project progress to superiors and stakeholders
