- Conduct historical research with emphasis on where unique contributions can be made including, but not limited to, the World War Two American submarine service, MacKinnon Scottish Clan History, and Japanese Historical.
- To solve mysteries related to the above.
- Assist and providing information to families whom lost members during the Second World War submarine service.
- Freely distribute as much information as possible.Since inception, the MacKinnon Organization has freely contributed to the publication of books, magazines, and television documentaries.
