I was brought back to the Banno team (acquired by Jack Henry) to develop the product management discipline within our business unit (100+ engineers, designers, and customer success teammates). I championed customer research initiatives, ensured user testing became part of our development lifecycle, managed internal and external roadmaps, frequently demoed at fintech conferences, and supported the sales team on significant opportunities. As a Sr. Product Manager for the Banno Platform, I owned the enterprise apps — the software the bank and credit union employees used to manage, interact, and support their digital users.

As a Sr. Digital Strategist I developed and managed campaigns and programs for clients such as BASF, TCF Bank, Firestone Tires, Valspar, and the Outdoor Industry Association.

As Banno’s first marketing hire, I was responsible for the outbound marketing for all Banno products. I crafted messaging for products and developed marketing programs that drove demand. I translated technical capabilities into benefits and developed product positioning that differentiated Banno’s software in the fintech marketplace. Jack Henry & Associates later acquired Banno.

Writing copy, scripts, and led content strategy for a variety of projects included direct mail campaigns for higher education institutions, scripts for college sports videos, website copy for landing pages and scripts for TV commercials. I worked closely with our production team and assisted them on set for all video productions (including several RED camera shoots).
