I currently sit on the Managed Account Trading Desk within Global Wealth Management at Bank of America Merrill. Our desks’ overall role is to execute trades for Portfolio Managers and Internal Merrill Financial Advisors for PIA (Personalized Investment Accounts), IAP (Investment Advisory Program), MAA (Managed Account Advisors), and Financial Advisor Discretionary Accounts. This requires a high degree of knowledge of all the programs and the rules and regulations that cover them. My day-to-day responsibilities are primarily involved with trading equity portfolio rebalances from Outside Money Managers and Internal Advisory Managers. It is within these responsibilities that I bring technical analysis into the role. My current coverage of the desk is in the Consumer space (Consumer Discretionary and Consumer Staples as well as all of Europe). This responsibility is a new re-organization of the trading desk and how we cover Portfolio Managers and Advisors. This is an initiative I have been spearheading along with the Executives for Capital Markets to provide a deeper coverage model. Combined with my expanded role of outreach to the largest Managers and Advisors within the Merrill franchise affords me a unique opportunity to bring Technical Analysis into the decision making and execution of equity portfolios. Outside of execution of equity portfolio rebalances, my role has expanded to include outreach to UHNW ( Ultra High Net Worth) Advisors for the generation of trade ideas that complement and adhere to CIO and BAML Research themes and guidelines. Some of the other tasks assigned to me include:• Provide measurable performance maintenance and improvement for Advisory flow ; Further develop procedures to maintain compliant conversations around market liquidityEstablish a method to combine tracked Trade Cost Analysis (TCA’s) pre-market impact estimates

Conducted trading of Bank of America Legacy Structured Products during transition to the Merrill Lynch Trading Platform Gathered and tested requirements from US Domestic users for the migration to a common trading platform Served as primary testing liaison between platform developers and end-user community Developed and implemented new Equity Price Challenge initiative -- Resulted in dispute resolution time reduction from three business days to same day resolution. Developed and implemented data processing automation procedures resulting in cost center savings in excess of $75,000 annually. Manage a team of associates to provide support and database modifications for the marketing and distribution of Equity I.P.O.'s and Add-On Offerings Managed operations for the promotional certificate of deposit campaign which successfully raised over $1 Billion in new client money.
