Finance Manager
- Supervised 15 or more direct reports to reach financial services expectations and personal and professional goals
- Manage and audit all the aspects of payroll transactions including FMLA as requested by HR/Finance
- Assist the Director and Associate Director in the development of policies and procedures
- Conduct internal audits, hold quarterly reviews for each direct report and provide feedback and goals to increase production as well as disciplinary action as needed and conducting termination of employees if needed.
- Conducted daily and weekly team meetings to go over department and government updates and compliance and delegate responsibilities, to team members, to engage and grow team morale and knowledge
- Assist the Director with the implementation of new technology used to maintain financial aid communications or document management
