I was responsible for negotiating Common law contracts and for the transition to Modern Awards and the compliance of the business to these awards. In this position I was primarily responsible for the Volume Recruitment of front line staff and also for managing the internal recruitment processes for supervisors, and managers. I looked after the internal supervisor recruitment for all Australian bases as well as specifically focusing on the external recruitment of Ground Staff for the Australian network.

This role was by far one of the most challenging and demanding roles of my career however it was also the most rewarding. This position had me responsible for the Human Resources function including Attraction, Retention, Policy, Budgets, Developing and implementing HR Strategies, Providing expert HR advice on Industrial Relations and Employee Relations issues, Succession planning and the full Learning and Development function for the business. I was responsible for Award interpretation across 3 separate awards and the engagement of Independent Contractors.
