Hi! My name is Bryan Vu and I am a fourth-year Aerospace Engineering major in the Henry Samueli School of Engineering at the University of California, Irvine. I am currently the Project Manager for the UCI Rocket Project (Solids), previously being the Chief Engineer. Here, I mainly work in management, dealing with every logistical aspect of the team, such as budgeting and competition requirements, and work closely with the School of Engineering and the UCI Rocket Project (Liquids).Over 2023-2024, I had the opportunity to become a Design Engineer Intern at Precision Resource, Inc., where I was able to hone my design and manufacturing capability while simultaneously helping the company succeed. Here, I designed various fixtures and specialized equipment out of 3D printing materials as well as stainless steel in order to generate thousands of dollars of savings and create a more efficient and effective workplace.
