Created a service-oriented group of accountants who reduced administrative burdens at operating locations, resulting in a 25% reduction of administrative head count at the campgrounds and compressed financial reporting cycles. Drove consensus-building efforts with management team that led to higher standardized pricing on membership products, steady increases in average dues, and changes to membership agreements that reduced the company's exposure to volatile energy prices.Thousand Trails was a public company trading on the American Stock Exchange prior to its sale to private equity interests in 2003. Market cap of the stock was about $5 million when I joined the company in 1994; we sold the company for $113 million in 2003.
