Servicing Eastlink Residential and Commercial customers with home internet, cable and phone service issues. My role includes assisting with escalated trouble calls, Daily trouble calls and working on improving my maintenance skills by tackling minor maintenance tasks such as taps, LE, Nodes and Trunk work.

As a splicer working for plexus I have the opportunity to do OSP splicing for Eastlink across the Atlantic provinces. I also install and configure networking equipment sourced by fiber and coax cable network. I also working in the residential eastlink network doing service on residential customers Internet, phone and cable.

As well I have been a beaver leader, cub leader, scout leader, venture advisor, sites & service manager for operation alert, as well as many roles under the area service team. As a general labour for bird construction I get the opportunity to complete many task on our jobs that may seem tedious to others but my completion of these task are required for the next trade to come in. These tasks include chipping concrete from surfaces above ground properly tied off to Saftey harness. Building temporary hand rails on new slab levels.

As a technician I was responsible to install Eastlink services into customers homes In the Halifax area. These services included telephone, Internet & cable tv service. My responsibility was from the telephone pole to the customers tv and everything in between.

In my role as a systems specialist I got the opportunity to work on a variety of projects all over Nova Scotia. These included installing IP telephone systems, in class sound, PA systems, IP cameras, closed tv system, corporate certified key scan access systems installer, running fiber for Aliant In multi dwelling units, installing "juniper" Internet boxes.
