Brian graduated from Himmelev High School in 1997 and then moved to Valencia, Spain for 1 year. Later he became Bachelor in Business Language (Spanish and English) and then translator in Spanish from Copenhagen Business School. His musical breakthrough was in 2005 when he released the song "No Promises" as Bryan Rice. It was on the soundtrack for the danish movie "Nynne". The song was on top of the Danish charts for many weeks and is #4 on IFPI Denmark's list of most played songs from 2000-2010. Other singles were "Homeless Heart" and "Can't Say I'm Sorry". In 2006 he released the debut album "Confessional", it sold gold, and was released in 14 countries around the world (including South Africa, Thailand, Taiwan, Indonesia, Turkey, etc.).This year, Bryan was nominated for "Best Danish Singer" at the Zulu Awards and "No Promises" as "Hit of the year" at the Great Dane Award.In 2007, Bryan released his second album "Good News" and thereby delivered a few more radio hits such as "I Lied", "Good News" and "Here I am".In 2009, Bryan Rice co-wrote "Underneath My Skin" which participated in the Danish Melodi Grand Prix, sung by Norwegian Christina Undhjem. The same year, Bryan released the single "Second Last Chance" as a tribute to the 50 years anniversary of Motown.In 2010, Bryan Rice participated again in the Danish Melodi Grand Prix, this time as soloist. He participated as one of the three wild cards with the song "Breathing", written by Peter Björnskov. The song came #2 in the Danish Eurovision Song Contest 2010.In 2010, Bryan released his third album 'Another Piece Of Me' on the label RecArt and in 2011 he published 'A Live Piece Of Me' on his own company 'BRec'.In 2010+12 Bryan had leading part in a Danish Theatre Concert called Stupid Man, based on the works of singer/songwriter Thomas Helmig. Bryan Rice is very active in charity contexts, and active as an ambassador for Plan Denmark (also volunteer translator), the Danish Red Cross and WWF (Arctic).
