Currently I'm working at J.D. Heiskell & Co as a Programmer/Analyst. There I'm responsible for maintaining the companies existing custom built CRM software written in .NET with a SQL Server database and working on a rewrite of the product in Ruby on Rails.Previously I worked at Berkley Technology Services in Urbandale, IA as a Senior Software Engineer. There I primarily worked on improving the quality of the code in their ClaimTrak product to make it easier to maintain and unit test and worked with other related teams in the company to build better software.Additionally, in the past I worked on the Encirca team at Dupont Pioneer at the Johnston, IA campus. I was on the Nitrogen team which is helping growers to limit the cost of nitrogen applied to their fields to give them maximum yield at the lowest possible cost to their operation and the environment.I was also responsible at Farmchem Corporation for the Information Technology department. This included maintaining systems uptime through design, implementation, maintenance and development of existing and new systems and software. The company supplies bulk chemical tanks, plumbing equipment and inventory telemetry systems to agricultural and industrial customers. My biggest responsibility was the maintenance of existing telemetry systems and development of new systems and technologies for growth in new markets.Specialties: I have extensive knowledge of the inventory telemetry markets as it pertains to bulk chemical installations. I have designed and built large data marts and warehouses to house and distribute telemetry data to customers.
