The Paper Analytical Device (PAD) Project is headed by Prof. Marya Lieberman and her research group. It aims to develop assays for the presence of drugs based on colorimetric tests, which can then be analyzed using a cell phone picture. I pursued possible analytical tests for epinephrine.• Researched primary literature to find possible chemical tests• Analyzed potential assays for colorimetric detection of epinephrine• Explored options for converting the assay into a lane test• Developed a colorimetric test for the detection of a secondary amine group
