For the past 20 years my focus has largely been on modeling and analyzing nodal and zonal markets across the globe. This breadth of work spans from contingency analysis of nodal power flows to the evaluation of long term capacity expansions in a zonal setting. My roles have allowed me to gain expertise in risk and portfolio analysis, environmental policy, operation and cost characteristics of all plant types, market price formation, and much more.I have expertise (price, policy, and operation) in the following markets: ERCOT, PJM, NYISO, ISO-NE, IESO, MISO, and WECC. Also, I have further modeling and analytical experience throughout the North American (including Mexico and all three interconnects) and various global power markets.From managing teams, to data and market scrutiny, I have deep experience in: demand uncertainty, energy efficiency, power and capacity price formation, new build financing, emerging and potential environmental regulations and policies, transmission expansion, renewables including their Renewable Portfolio Standards (RPS), Clean Power Plan variants, RECs, powerflow analysis and manipulation, team building, management and retention, and much more. I have a keen understanding and knowledge of power market data sources and release timing for data across North America and several global markets. I have been responsible for creating and updating fundamental modeling data from the ground up. This experience is both on prem and with cloud based solutions. My modeling experience includes work with Aurora, PLEXOS, Market Power, PROMOD and PSS/E power models.I am an active member of the WECC Production Cost Model Data Working Group, the PJM Planning Committee, NYISO Operating Committee and several other committees including but not limited to: PJM MMWG, PJM LAS, ERCOT SSWG, WECC DSI have programming experience in several languages: VB/VBA, SQL, Python, and R
