This position primarily focuses on supporting Actel customers to utilize Actel FPGAs in their applications. There are two main methods in which I support Actel Customers. The first method centers around real time problems customer's are facing such as issues using Actel FPGAs or using Actel Software. It's my duty to make sure that if the customer runs into any problems that they can quickly overcome the problem and continue developing or producing their products.The second method takes a more defensive look at supporting customers. My duty here is to anticipate how customers will use Actel products and what kind of problems they will run into. For example, this takes the form of creating Application Notes, design reference examples, developing trainings and tutorials. In addition, working closely with Product Planners and Software designers to avoid many issues that Actel customer's could potentially run into.

I was a Corporate Applications Engineering Intern at Actel Corporation for a 13 month Professional Experience Year (PEY) term that is offered in relation to the University of Toronto. I participated in this program between my 3rd and 4th year of studies in Engineering Science at the University of Toronto. My main area of focus was on Functional Failure Analysis of Actel devices that failed during customer use. This position required excellent problem solving skills to resolve the root cause of failure. In addition, I organized all communication with our team in Japan and held regular teleconferences. I also learned skills on Actel's Technical Support hotline and worked hard to make sure customers were using Actel's parts efficiently and without problems. Lastly, I helped develop online content for Actel's website including Applications notes and Knowledge base articles.

This was a summer position at Premier Peterbilt of Brampton between my 2nd and 3rd year of Engineering Science at the University of Toronto. My main duties were to deliver truck parts on demand to mechanic shops and truck dealerships in the greater Toronto area. I made sure the customers were satisfied and corrected any mistakes. I also trained warehouse personnel on shipping and receiving procedures.

This was a summer position at a Premier Peterbilt of Brampton dealership between my 1st and 2nd year of Engineering Science studies at the University of Toronto. My main duties were to make sure the facilities were in top working order. This involved painting, cleaning, lawn care, part delivery, and much more odd jobs to help keep business running smoothly.
