This position primarily focuses on supporting Actel customers to utilize Actel FPGAs in their applications. There are two main methods in which I support Actel Customers. The first method centers around real time problems customer's are facing such as issues using Actel FPGAs or using Actel Software. I participated in this program between my 3rd and 4th year of studies in Engineering Science at the University of Toronto. My main area of focus was on Functional Failure Analysis of Actel devices that failed during customer use. This position required excellent problem solving skills to resolve the root cause of failure. In addition, I organized all communication with our team in Japan and held regular teleconferences. I also learned skills on Actel's Technical Support hotline and worked hard to make sure customers were using Actel's parts efficiently and without problems. Lastly, I helped develop online content for Actel's website including Applications notes and Knowledge base articles.
