I provide frontline service to customers by assessing their needs, communicate updates to policyholders who require personal assistance with their coverages and determine the level of assistance needed including quoting new or servicing existing policies. I also provide information on complex billing issues and answer any other service-related policy questions. I can initiate investigations into customer’s policy concerns and activities, plus assist customers with proof of coverage issues. In addition, I assist lender and mortgage company requests regarding a customer's policy to ensure all billing and policy information is accurate. Currently, I serve as the creative voice behind Basically Creative Communications. As a freelance writer and outreach professional, I focus on assisting others in the realization of their business vision, focusing on one-on-one communications strategies for small businesses. In addition, I have aided national organizations and conferences to assist in their communications with attendees.

In my role investigating online financial crimes, I helped bank customers being taken advantage of by fraudsters conducting transactions on their accounts. Through interactions with the customers and branch bankers, I researched the reported fraud and categorized the type of fraud, conducted a brief investigation and determined the next steps on how to resolve the issue. Account replacement, removal of unauthorized payees and canceling or re-enabling services were major roles that I excelled at. In some cases, I would advise a customer information on how to combat inaccuracies with their credit through contact with the credit bureaus.l and file financial abuse reports for elderly or dependent customers, which could be used by law enforcement officials and banking regulators.

My most recent assignment to date, I served as a customer service role for the Novartis Patient Assistance Foundation. In this role, I coordinate patients to the medications required to extend their lives. I was responsible for prescription refills, membership renewals and account coordination, all while maintaining the strictest rules regarding privacy and confidentiality.

Currently, I am a representative for RemX Workplace Experts. As a trained customer service agent, I am an important asset in helping Fortune 500 companies provide a detailed resource in providing information on their products and services.

I served as an enumerator for the special mid-decade census that was conducted between September to December in 2015. The purpose of the census was to provide a detailed accounting of the increase in population within the City of Chandler. I was involved in door-to-door canvassing and helped assist in canvassing blitzes to cover apartment and condominium complexes. In some instances, I worked with the management companies and their guidelines to determine the accuracy of totals.

While working at Gunn Communications, Inc., I served as the community representative for various projects. I served as a liaison and “face of the project” in working with contractors, city representatives and community groups. I strived to maintain professionalism, cooperation and project ownership while on duty and to mitigate issues as they arose.

While working at Chase Field and the U.S. Airways Center, I had the pleasure of working with a great team in order to provide the best guest relations and community outreach as possible to visitors of both facilities. I always tried to do my best to help returning guests and first-time visitors with an excellent level of support to enhance their experience. Additionally, I was asked to handle the occasional crisis when it came to medical or security issue, and I worked to be clear and concise in reporting the incident and in my incident report.

One of the highlights of my professional life was being selected to provide community outreach services for METRO Light Rail. It was exciting to be a part of such a dynamic step forward for our community. While working at HDR, which served as a consultant to METRO, I distributed collateral materials to the public and business stakeholders along the alignment. I attended various conferences, public meetings, and stakeholder events as a representative of METRO. These included the Downtown Phoenix Partnership and Phoenix Community Alliance sponsored public events. I also was involved in creating events designed to celebrate the completion of various construction phases, including the “Rock ‘n Rail Dance Party”.I also coordinated and served as a principal contact for the Community Advisory Board (CAB) program while serving as the contact for meetings, a monthly meeting updating the progress of light-rail construction comprised of residents, community and business leaders within the downtown area and surrounding neighborhoods. In addition, I trained all new CAB members, assisted in the development of numerous policies and procedures related to all aspects of the CAB program. I also provided updates to the newsletter on issues discussed at CAB meetings.Beginning in July of 2007, I assumed the role as Business Outreach Coordinator for all signage and banner requests related to METRO’s Courtesy Signage Program within downtown Phoenix and along Washington and Jefferson Streets.

As a technical director, I oversaw all aspects of news/talk and sports-programmed radio programs by coordinating on-air personalities with live cut-ins and remote broadcasting, recording and airing segments for broadcast. My main duties were to prepare guests for interviews and technically produce “Arizona’s Morning News with Jim Sharpe”. I also served as a call screener for “Real Life with David Leibowitz”, a daily caller-orientated program discussing various topical issues.As the assistant producer for “Arizona’s Saturday Morning News”, I would routinely book guests and prepare the host for various community related topics. Some guests I booked and prepped for the ;program included recording artist Alice Cooper, Rep. J.D. Heyworth and ABC News’ Cokie Roberts.

While on-air in the Toledo radio market, I oversaw all areas of news/talk formatted programming. I served as a sports program host and reporter and as an on-air personality for the contemporary hit radio and adult contemporary music formats. I also served as a technical engineer for remotes and special broadcasts.I booked guests, created daily promotional announcements and call screener for “The Scott Sloan Show”, a daily caller-orientated program discussing various topical issues. I also produced, and hosted “Sportstalk Saturday”, which provided the opportunity to Interview various media and sports personalities, including ESPN The Magazine writer Jackie McMullen, former Miami (Ohio) and Arizona State University head coach Herb Sendek and Cleveland Indians Hall of Fame pitcher Bob Feller.I served as a field reporter for the sports department, covering the University of Michigan, Ohio State University, University of Toledo, Detroit Lions, Detroit Tigers. I also appeared as a guest panelist for “Buckeye Roundtable”, a weekly program discussing Ohio State University football.
