Responsibilities as a Detective within the Tactical Unit of the Orlando Police Department International Airport include; narcotics investigations, plain clothes tactical operations, utilization of single purpose narcotics detection K-9 and cultivation of sources within the Airline and Rental Car industry to further investigations. Cross-sworn customs agent designation with a focus on narcotics interdiction and bulk cash smuggling.

Responsibilities performing as an undercover narcotics agent included; narcotics investigations, undercover and tactical operations, cultivation of confidential sources of intelligence and utilization of single purpose narcotics detection K-9. Cross-sworn task force officer designation with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) with a focus on narcotics interdiction and bulk cash smuggling.

Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) certified K-9 handler and K-9 team evaluator. Responsibilities of a full service K-9 handler include; responding to and deploying dual purpose K-9 on in progress calls for service within the city of Orlando and surrounding jurisdictions. Maintain training and proficiency in area searches, building searches, tracking, criminal apprehension, obedience and explosive ordinance detection.

Certified bike officer with the Law Enforcement Bicycle Association (LEBA), Responsible for answering calls for service and protecting the citizens of Orlando and tourists within the Downtown Core District of Orlando.

State of Florida Certified police officer responsible for protecting the citizens of Orlando, keeping Orlando a safe city by reducing crime, maintaining livable neighborhoods and for answering calls for service within the city of Orlando and surrounding jurisdictions.
