As the Strategy Director for Halliburton Completion Tools (HCT), I cover the global businesses that spans 8 regions and ~32 countries. Based out of Singapore, the business HQ, I am constantly working with the corporate HQ in USA. There are 3 aspects to my role: Strategy Development and Communication, Market Intelligence, and Strategy Execution.- Strategy Development and Communication: Annual strategy development for alignment with C-suite and Board. As per of the strategy roll-out, I plan and design the change management program. In addition, go-to-market strategy development for particular products or countries.- Market Intelligence: Develop market insights based on various market sources, including macro and micro considerations - Strategy Execution: Largely involves M&A, performance management of the overall Strategy, business case reviews, and implementation of selected strategic initiatives e.g. Digital transformation

Strategic and Operational consulting for Oil and Gas companies (IOCs and NOCs) as well as GovermentsKey projects includes:Operations / transformation■ Drive the feasibility study for a 5 USD Bn petrochemical complex that involves multiple partners. I worked with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely project development■ Lead the Green Model factory in Singapore to build client capabilities on Energy Efficiency in a 1,000 barrel/day kero distillation plant. This capability building concept is founded upon experiential learning driving sustainable changes (www.greencampus.mckinsey.com)■ Co-develop the production system for organization with a network of refineries. I worked with the client to merge their internal best practice with the global best practice. This was refined, codified and communicated to their network of refineries■ Design the organization structure of the capital project group that handles >20 USD Bn per year of capital investment to realize capital efficiency improvement of 20%. This project goes beyond organizational design into behaviour shift and mindset changes to ensure the sustainability of change requiredStrategy■ Drove the crude oil management strategy for a PIW top 50 refiner that resulted in 1 USD million per day of impact. This project involved mapping global crude production and qualities in the client’s linear program that drives optimized crude procurement ■ Develop the corporate strategy for 2 different Oil and Gas company in Asia. The strategy development covered various business units e.g. Refining, Aromatics, Lubes, Green Energy, Gas■ Develop the spin-off strategy for an Energy trading company including preparing the Board approval document on the business case, business model and strategy, implementation plan involving people transition, capability building■ Assess the economic feasibility of a 2 USD billion downstream investment and develop the potential go-to-market strategy
