Operations Project Engineer (Field Engineer)
CurrentManageing all vendors, undertaking the respective scopes of workMaintain an updated progress, re forecast planned start & finish dates as required, using the plan on a daily basis & issue to the Onshore Asset PlannerReview the Vendor Daily Report & ensure the document is issued, as per the agreed distribution listReview vendor work methods statements & vendor work packsConduct daily toolbox talks with vendors to ensure work tasks are planned, understood and tooling/support is available.Ensure materials; people; platform support & services are in place prior to commencement of the planned activitiesEnsure Permits to work are in place prior to the commencement of the planned activities, act as Permit Authority when required and expedite ISSOW processes, as requiredCommunicate with the platform department heads to ensure all are engaged and familiar with the respective scopes of workResponsible for ensuring the respective TAQA & Vendor signatures are reflected on the appropriate acceptance proformas wrt to Alignment; Mechanical Completion & CommissioningActs as TAQA authorised signatory for critical assurance/compliance witness points.Facilitate as required, to ensure vendors productivity and working efficiency. Optimise the day to day activities in conjunction with the planned scopes in order to identify & manage opportunities & threatsTo have a regular (expected 80% on site / 20% admin) on site presence to ensure that current scopes are being completed as per the plan and in a safe manner with respect to relevant code of practiceTo be fully conversant and abreast of all scopes so as to communicate effectively the status of scopes when required by platform and office based supervision and staff.To complete daily reports in a timely manner to ensure on board supervision can present the shifts work at the daily meetings and request isolations etc for upcoming scopesTo produce Permits to work (WCC’s), Isolations etc in accordance with TAQA ISSOW policies
