I believe that the best world is the one we make with our own hands, and hard work and enthusiasm are the ingredients for excellent handiwork. In project management, prototype development, and research I bring my energy to my work and my peers. Developing products to bring to market is a passion of mine, and seeing the results of a successful group effort is fulfilling and rewarding. I am currently working towards my master's degree in prosthetics and orthotics, the first step towards becoming a certified clinician. Before this I was involved with Koru, an intensive business-skills program that rigorously trains recent college graduates and young professionals to develop the skills and capability necessary to excel in today's business community. I also worked at Rice University's Mechatronics and Haptic Interfaces Lab, where I assisted in research and developed and ran experiments concerning touch feedback for prosthetic limbs. I also enjoy hiking, kayaking, and rock climbing when the weather lets me, and occasionally when it doesn't.
