Responsible for the overall management of the day-to-day Front Office operations and assisting with the administrative functions. Devise and Implement “plan of action” for the Front Office operation. Development of occupancy, revenue, payroll and staffing forecasts. Handle and resolve inquiries, special service requests and guest related problems. Act as “Manager On Duty” in the absence of upper management including the duties of emergency response co-coordinator, hotel liaison and public relations when necessary. Welcome VIP’s and act as lead contact during the duration of stay and attend to any needs that may arise.

Managed the day-to-day responsibilities of the housekeeping department during the evening shift. Duties included supervision of 50+ staff, including laundry staff. Maintaining that all rooms were clean and ready for arriving guests. Payroll and Scheduling for a 100+ staff. VIP room preparation and inspection preparation daily.

Solely responsible for the nightly systems audit and operation of the Front Desk. Also the co-ordination of the Bell Staff, Valet, Communications, Housekeeping and Room Service on the third shift, including account maintenance, guest relations, reconciling previous days activity, preparation for next days business.

Patrol hotel grounds to ensure safety of guests and employees. Ensure hotel assets are protected. Report writing including incident, medical, and traffic and crime reports. Security escorts of VIP’s and Celebrities. Handling of Lost and Found items, ensuring the prompt return of and storage of items. Acting as a “Roaming Concierge” to assist in-house guests and patrons of the hotel.
