Developed and lead a team of infrastructure specialists that enabled and accelerated the deployment of high-availability systems, shared services, and management technologies based on the Microsoft product family. This infrastructure supported a 24/7/365 global IT operation spread across 25+ countries.Planned and executed projects to standardize centralize and upgrade the global Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP infrastructure and related systems. Unplanned downtime was effectively eliminated, design complexity and maintenance overhead were greatly reduced, and overall performance was measurably improved.Designed and implemented the VMWare infrastructure across four datacenters in the United States, EMEAI, and Asia Pacific. This project resulted in the conversion of 80% + of all physical servers in these Datacenters to virtual machines, improving systems availability, performance, and manageability while recognizing significant cost savings.Established processes and procedures based on ITIL formally plan, document, deploy, and managed IT services based on agreed upon requirements of both the Business and IT organizations. This processes included the establishment of standardized discovery process for evaluating budgetary and architectural constraints, service availability and accessibility, business continuity, organizational readiness, and service level agreements.
