Led loan production for tax-exempt and taxable loans focused on high yield tax increment financing deals, developer bonds, nonprofit loans, as well as traditional loans with municipalities, school districts, higher education, charter schools and affordable housing transactions. Leveraged relationships to generate loan syndication deals and collaborated on a $600M transaction with four Banks at a large University, negotiating the Bank’s terms, pricing, and legal compliance. Spearheaded initiative to focus on community redevelopment bonds to assist Bank tax credits. Built external and internal relationships to generate additional bank relationships and cross-sell opportunities. Delivered a “Weekly Debrief” report to Senior Management to track pipeline, revenue, probability, deals closing as well as travel plans, conferences, and personal PTO. Tracked bid results from competition, market intelligence and collaborated with industry sources and centers of influence to understand market conditions. Participated as a Board Member of the African American Business Resources Group (AABRG) initiatives, which included committee for Juneteenth, Lunch and Learn session and mentor program.

Managed the execution and purchase of municipal bonds, loans, and leases directly from government and public and not for profit issuers nationally. Developed new business with Energy Savings Companies and worked in partnership with companies to finance projects at onset of customized lease financings. Identified, pursued and assisted in closing financing opportunities by directly marketing and establishing strong relationships to centers of influence. Cultivated a broad network of relationships with vendor companies, referral sources and centers of influence inside and outside of the organization.Served as a trusted expert in the market and assist in delivering solutions for energy performance contract projects including, but not limited to HVAC renovations, lighting projects, alternative energy use, water conservation and assistance with green building initiatives. Developed business and managed financing with energy performance agreements, energy savings projects, energy as a service and hybrid model structures for Huntington Bank while focused on the small ($100k) and large ($70MM) leasing, USDA and Bond deals.Regularly achieved loan production goals, having exceed $250M in FY2021 contributing to the Bank’s $5B loan portfolio.

Nonprofit organization Food Conscious specializes in food-based economic development initiatives, food system financing and sustainable food system education throughout Ohio and Western Pennsylvania. The Executive Director and Board work to connect the business and food community for the advancement of local and sustainable food systems. Semiannual public events currently take place in Cleveland, Columbus and Pittsburgh. Speaker topics include food system policy, food entrepreneurship and venture capital, healthy, local and sustainable food education, food-based philanthropy and economic development.Assist and consult other nonprofits, Food Strong (FoodStrong.org) and Green City Roots (GreenCityRoots.com), to connect them with the food and business industry to maximize and grow the organizations.
