Transformed an underperforming engineering team to a team that delivered. Led a cross-functional team of 20 engineers to launch the division's first new product since 2013. The launch included a full risk analysis program (pFMEA, dFMEA, life testing, logistics, etc), globally sourced supply chain, and engineering disciplines including mechanical engineering (Solidworks), ultra-high vacuum, electron beam and field physics, firmware and automation. Created the corporation's first global tiger team that leveraged some of the world's foremost scientists and engineers to quickly recover the division's production capacity by increasing the yield on half the products from 40% to 90%. Reconfigured the production testing systems hardware, software, SOPs, and fault finding metrics that improved the output 32%. Our customer bases' incoming inspection pass rate also improved significantly.Worked with the top customers to develop the details on future products and services. Led the creation of the product roadmaps and strategy for the division, presenting it to the CEO and board.Restructured the design team, process, and KPIs to deliver NPI and CI Engineering.Managed a team utilizing the following tools: Solidworks, BoA (electron optics FEA), dFMEA, pMFEA, DFM, SPC, NI, PDM, ERP, MS Project, HVPSUs etc.

Led the ALM team (EE, Layout, Firmware, App, Mechanical, and Optical) to create an award-winning family of products.

Built a high performing team of cross-functional engineers and designers from the ground up to develop life-saving and award-winning products at a Biotech/Medtech consulting firm. Was responsible for group P&L and was able to deliver the project on time and under budget. Larger projects had upwards of 40 team members and multiple outside contractors. Developed a 24hr supply chain that allowed the engineering team to go from concept to demonstration in days instead of weeks. It was a significant advantage in the marketplace for our customers. Technologies included PCR (D&Q), Microfluidics, Photonics, Thermal Cycling, Robotics, Custom Automation, Disposables, and other assays.
