Parker Hannifin is a $13 billion company with 60,000 employees in 48 countries. It is the world’s leading manufacturer of motion and control technologies and systems. The division I worked for, Sporlan, supplies components for the refrigeration and air conditioning industry. I helped construct an Affirmative Action Plan for one of the division's manufacturing facilities and assisted with two of the locations’ General Wage Increases. I also complete the entire division's weekly people count. I’m currently helping the division increase their communication by creating a PowerPoint to be shown on the TVs at all plant locations. I am also partnering with HR representatives at a couple plants and assisting in employee relation activities. I have also participated in a few interviews and career/job fairs. I have organized and supervised a portion of a fundraiser for the March of Dimes. Additionally, I’ve completed Parker’s High Performance Team Leadership Training Program. Other projects I’ve assisted with are the hourly employee hand book review, coordinating summer college help for the plants, assisting with new hire orientation, and reviewed the division Emergency Action Plan.

I worked for Mallinckrodt the pharmaceuticals business. While I was employed I contacted and setup meetings to discuss Behavioral Based Interviewing with forty-six hiring managers from various departments of the company and almost thirty other members involved with the hiring process. I also created eighty-seven behavioral based interview guides for the hiring managers. I also contacted seven third party recruiters about information pertaining to open positions within the company. I sourced resumes from various job boards, such as CareerBuilder, Monster, LinkedIn, and Dice.
