I am an occasional Investor, Board Member and Mentor.CCO of a mid-tier investment bank, CIM Securities. On a personal note and since 2000, my firm, Starlight Capital Inc. has developed an angel investment network and hosted more than 130 conferences in person and online for entrepreneurs to meet invited investors. Starlight has extensive experience offering transaction and advisory services to early- and development-stage companies in many industries. Previous to my finance career, I spent a decade in the telecommunications industry, largely in marketing and call center operations throughout Latin America. I am also a serial entrepreneur, who has started and sold several businesses, one of which I sold to a large company in India, where I worked part time for several years. In keeping with my interest in sustainability, I live at an off-grid, solar and wind powered log home, where I built a 120 foot power and communications tower.I am active with State and National director positions in Civil Air Patrol (Public Affairs and HF/VHF Communications), an Amateur Radio Extra licensee, and a licensed pilot.I earned a BA in Spanish and Economics and a MBA, as well as Securities licenses: 7, 63, 24, 27, 87, 79, and 99.
