Since starting my career I have worked in a variety of different roles and organisations across the Recruitment Sector. My role at Milkround introduced me to the world of Early Career and since then I have been lucky enough to also work agency side and in-house. This has given me the opportunity to work with exceptional companies across multiple sectors and also experience job roles across attraction, recruitment and development.I initially joined RBS (now Natwest) to support the Investment Banking Division attract new talent to the business. The organisation had a brand new board and business strategy, including a renewed focus on building capability through the Early Careers programmes. However, due to the financial crash their Employer Brand and credibility on campus had been significantly impacted. My role required creative and innovative thinking to help re-position RBS as an employer of choice and compete with other leading Investment Banks. Throughout my time in this role, RBS jumped 18 places in the Times Top 100, won 3 awards for on-campus engagement and we launched a brand new personal development programme for female undergraduates. In 2014, I was also given the opportunity to help launch the first RBS Apprentice programme. In the first year, 120 apprentices were placed into the Corporate Banking and Retail Division.I currently work for Amberjack and sit on our Operational Board. Our mission is to create a world where individuals are recruited purely based on their potential to succeed and progress, rather than past experience. We are passionate about creating inclusive recruitment experiences for our clients and providing exceptional journeys for their candidates. Whilst working in this role I have continued to build my knowledge of best practice recruitment and assessment, whilst also delivering a new B2B marketing strategy to support the business to achieve their ambitious growth targets.
