I am passionate about social work and diversity, and I aspire to pursue a career in Human Resources.I recently completed a People Operation DEI Internship at Common Sense Media, where I researched and drafted a whitepaper on the impacts of DEI Backlash, created a calendar of cultural events, produced a webinar for the Juneteenth celebration, and supported revamping the intranet with a DEI section. I gained valuable skills in human resources, communication, and punctuation.I also have experience as an Event Planner at Business Society, a student organization that promotes education and networking opportunities for business students. I planned and hosted events, such as workshops, seminars, and socials, that engaged and informed our members. I also coordinated weekly study sessions and maintained a healthy culture in the organization.In addition, I have five years of experience in the construction industry, where I worked as an Assistant Manager at JMQ Construction. I managed projects, budgets, and deadlines, and communicated with customers and suppliers. I learned how to work with different stakeholders and teams.
