It was not uncommon to receive circuit concepts on napkins. In some cases, designed and implemented mechanics for subsystems using metal shop. Test equipment utilized included oscilloscopes, multimeters, and frequency counters. Completed BSEE while at company and was offered to stay on as an engineer upon graduation; however, the cancellation of the Superconducting Super Collider 3-months prior to my graduation, prevented this from becoming a reality.
