During my summer the main projects I worked on were:Drive improvement in encore out of box external quality metric by determining root cause for the 3 highest manufacturing defects through assembly that are reported by the customer upon unity start-up. I also worked with Encore manufacturing managers to develop process change and implementation. I also took ownership and lead bi-weekly out of box meetings held with cross functional team.I am responsible on taking the top warranty replacement part, by total dollars and develop standardized rates for the warranty service calls for those parts. Once standard repair rates are identified, work with an identified ASC to pilot this new process in the field. I also had to develop process for claims and training plan to accommodate process change.
