Narngulu Waste Water Treatment Plant -Multiple roles in this project from the creation of tender documents including one for low speed aerators, to the review of all the new plants drawings from a mechanical aspect. Canarvon Inlet Screen Sprays - Designed the spray system for the new inlet screens at the wastewater treatment plant, conducted a return on investment analysis to justify using reclaimed effluent as the source of water for the sprays. Created an initial P&ID then simulated a system curve to help size a suitable filter, delivery pump as well as pipe work. Worked out the best pipe route taking into account hydraulic grade line concerns as well as physical practicalities on site. Sized a suitable storage tank, booster pump and associated pipe work to the sprays. Created a rough design and liaised with a drafter in it’s preparation in AutoCAD, reviewed the final drawings. Wrote a manual for the operation of the spray system.Woodman Point Waste Water Treatment Plant - Provided technical support to site operations on mechanical maintenance issues including skimmings channels on the site PSTs and the raw sludge grinders, where after assessing the technical capabilities of the existing grinders and comparing their performance with other grinders on site made a recommendation on a change of grinder that resulted in a significant reduction in the downtime and maintenance costs associated with the equipment.Merredin Chloramination Plant - Acted as the contractor’s representative (CWS) as well as fulfilled the commissioning engineer role when the project came to commissioning. Liaised with HR and Region to ensure training on new process was rolled out in a timely fashion at the level required.Woodman Point Tanker Receival Facility - Worked as an integral part of the fast track project team looking after the contractual development, procurement and commissioning of mechanical equipment
