20 years ago, I bought a truck to start a business. Today, we’ve grown to 50+ staff, 250+ bins and demolished over 3,500,000 square feet of project space in Western Canada. Here’s our story:Based out of Langley BC, the GB Group began as a small disposal waste and recycling company. As word spread and market demand grew, we began to add on new sectors to the business. Over the last couple years, we’ve expanded to be a fully integrated waste management and demolition contractor serving the largest construction projects in the province.Since the beginning, we’ve believed that exceptional service belongs at the forefront of our industry. Years later, it continues to be the core reason our clients keep calling us back for help. With this exact customer service focus, we’ve been invited to lead the interior demolition and disposal operations for large scale projects for brands like SAP Vancouver, the Holt Renfrew Mall, the Metro Tower in Burnaby, Ormidale Development and Hudson Bay Vancouver.With our demolition and environmental division, we've partnered with general contractors like EllisDon, Graham Construction, Turner Construction, ITC Construction and Ledcor to complete highly technical projects for brands like Amazon, Facebook, Slack, SFU, BCIT, and the Bentall Towers.Some numbers we're proud of include:- professionally demolishing 3,500,000+ sq ft of projects- transporting and delivering over 400,000+ bins- driving over 10,500,000 km on the road- working over 845,000+ man-hoursWhen looking to the future, I’m excited to be building a culture that’s focused on putting customers first and providing opportunities for our employees to grow.
