Intern - Global Supply Chain - Strategy & System GroupColgate Palmolive Jun 2014 - Aug 2014Bryan led the streamlining of ordering process to build production capacity and flexibility due to flavor/fragrance plant’s new world-wide production responsibility. Interviewing critical stakeholders at all three U.S. manufacturing plants allowed him to understand the current ordering method and gather data before analyzing the current process. He designed a new ordering process, including a method for unexpected changes in demand. KPIs were established between each U.S. manufacturing facility and flavor/fragrance plant, which were solidified in SLAs that Bryan wrote and reviewed with plant management. He also corrected and aligned Master Data in SAP for each flavor & fragrance SKU, allowing accurate data to be used for planning and inventory purposes in all three U.S. manufacturing plants. The project resulted in production capacity and flexibility at the flavor/fragrance plant, along with a reduction in safety stock for multiple SKUs through inventory right sizing opportunities at manufacturing sites. -
