• Responsible for managing the technical applications and supporting infrastructure for the Outsourcing business team at E*Trade which uses Equity Edge to administer Equity Compensation Plans for 180 Corporate clients. • Developed automations and tools in Java, Perl, PL/SQL, VB, KSH to facilitate the automatic importing / exporting / processing of data for 180 clients to help cut down on the number of manual processes that needed to be performed by the Outsourcing team resulting in reduced errors encountered with manual processes and input. • Created various web based tools in JSP/Servlets and Perl/CGI to allow the Outsourcing team to execute ad-hoc reports on client’s data and perform mass updates when needed. • Support, monitor and perform upgrades to the system, application, and database environments and act as the main point of contact for problem resolution.

• Responsible for the development of a custom Java application framework that recorded real-time application performance information. The Java framework worked in conjunction with US Bank's various Java J2EE applications and was implemented in their WebSphere application server. The framework would record the performance information to an Oracle RDBMS. Response time, arrival rate and error performance statistics were collected and reported on.• Created a web-based interface that graphically displayed the real-time performance metrics for an application. This interface was developed using JSP pages and applets on the front-end and was updated with current performance information by communicating with Servlets that resided in the performance framework.• Performed problem determination, root cause analysis and recommend solutions to resolve performance, availability and/or scalability issues on production applications.

• Responsible for research and development of new technologies that better enabled Covansys to meet the needs of clients in the area of performance engineering. Clients that utilized the services and solutions of our Performance Engineering Practices included: Encyclopedia Britannica, Visa, US West, Qwest, Agilent, and US Bank.• Developed various application frameworks that enabled the capture of data to evaluate the resource, load, performance and quality of operating systems and object oriented applications. Application frameworks were written in Java, Perl, C++ and Visual Basic. Data captured was for the measurement and monitoring of systems resources for various operating systems and application metrics. Applications and systems were measured to make sure that applications performed to a certain response time thresholds and were capable of being scaled for future growth.

The application downloaded new and modified legislation documents from the State’s FTP servers and parsed out pertinent legislative content and key words, then inserted / updated the data to a SQL Server Database.• Created various ASP pages that presented data, added search capabilities, and other customized features to satisfy the ever-changing needs of customers.
