Implemented change management by acting in a key role in the Rio Tinto takeover of a public company (Turquoise Hill) subsequent to the acquisition of control by Rio Tinto. Role initially focused on integrating the Turquoise Hill accounting & finance function into the Rio Tinto Copper Group & subsequently on completing the requirements of Turquoise Hill’s quarterly external financial reporting and internal reporting to Rio Tinto.

Primarily responsible for the accounting and consolidated financial reporting of Rio Tinto’s indirectly owned business in Mongolia (the Oyu Tolgoi mine) to the Rio Tinto Copper Product Group. Also supported Turquoise Hill excluding Oyu Tolgoi monthly internal financial reporting and half-yearly external financial reporting to the Rio Tinto Copper Product Group.
