As acting manager responsible for 6 employees of the companies machine shop, I was proudly accountable for the set-up & complete programming of (3) Mazak SQT 20, 3 Axis Lathes & (2) Fadal 20x20x40 VMC’s. While overlooking operators actions in high precision machining, my job duties also consisted of quoting incoming jobs, processing purchase orders, ordering materials & execute all of the outside processing such as Fibre Laser, Wire EDM, Heat Treat, ECT.My position at MMC has provided me with extensive electrical & mechanical experience towards repairs on a variety of CNC machines critical for production, such as: Turret & Mill Head Timing & Alignment, Tool Eye Installation & Calibration, 5th Axis Mill Head Replacement, Repair Hydraulic Power Units & Pump Couplers, Power supplies & Circuit Tracing on PCB’s.Building state of the art automation machinery, I have been introduced & highly educated to read & interpret tool details, Such as: mechanical & electrical cabinet assemblies, powered by electro-mechanical, pneumatic & hydraulic power units designed for designated actuation, controlled by Allen Bradley PLC Logic. Working hand in hand with electrical controls engineers & machine tool builders I was required to perform complete mechanical & electrical services to generate the build of automated machinery, Such As robotic, assembly & Conveyor systems, resistance weld & general test equipment supported by Hydraulic & electric servo Systems.

Entering my industrial career, inheriting the respectable duties of machining high quality details on Bridgeport mills, engine lathes OD/ID jig grinders, shapers & boring mills Up to (35”x72”x48”) to ensure proper machine repair required for optimum performance on straight side presses up to 500 tons & a wide variety other industrial machinery.My Position required me to travel & demonstrate my skillset in the field among multiple states in the U.S. In the field I performed electrical services such as wiring main power, routing conduit, junctions & transformers for new machine installation, such as high tonnage presses, EDM machines, variety of turning & milling centers. Mechanical services I performed consisted of crankshaft balancing, re-building counterbalances, completely metered lubrication systems & mechanical air clutch installation on high tonnage straight side presses. Once machine repair or installation was completed, I was also responsible for monitoring, aligning, leveling & calibrating all aspects of machinery for maximum performance & accuracy.A vast majority of the jobs that I was dealt required me to demonstrate professional on-site machining, such as; metric & standard thread cutting, gear hobbing, spline cutting, crankshaft balancing, keyway broaching, boring & OD grinding for precise bearing fitments or linear guides repairs. In order to support these machining processes I was restricted to use machinery that was supplied at the plant I was performing a repair at. Due to this I have been introduced & became very efficient at using a wide variety of manufacturing equipment to execute the machining practices preciously stated.
