I am working at Acrea 3D as a lead engineer in micro 3D printer development. We manufacture printers specialized for microfluidics and help with design and fabrication of microfluidic devices, commonly used in research. At Acrea 3D I have worked on the back end and front end programming as well as the mechanical design and manufacturing of our printer. I also help our customers with design and manufacturing of their devices.Before my job at Acrea 3D, I worked for three years in the BYU Electrical engineering department under Dr. Greg Nordin as a research assistant in microfluidics and 3D printer design. There I similarly worked on the back end programming of the printer as well as collaboration design work for custom 3D printed microfluidic devices.
