Why do people hate recruiters? Most recruiters are pushy, lack market knowledge, and fail to give the information employees need to actually make an informed choice. I am a different kind of recruiter. I am a former practicing attorney in Phoenix, Arizona. I know the legal market. It's my job to know it. And I want to help you make a fully informed choice when you are looking for a new firm or in-house gig. My focus is on law firm lateral recruiting and in-house placements in Arizona and California markets. I have a passion for helping attorneys to find better fits at law firms and other legal employers. My goal is to help my people find positions that they want to stay in for a long time, maybe even the rest of their careers. I am genuinely interested in helping and serving the people I work with. I invest in helping attorneys with their resumes, interview prep, and in guiding them in what they want in a future employer. I also like to get to know a little about them so I can better market them as a person.I practice law for over six years in Arizona, working in civil litigation with the Arizona Attorney General's Office, clerking for a federal judge for two years, working in civil defense at a small law firm, and working for a little over a year as a prosecutor. Personally, I am a big hiker. I love the outdoors and exploring new places. I love the snow and do a lot of skiing in the winter. I am a bit of a daredevil and love a good adrenaline rush. I also enjoy golf, pickleball (just like every other American, it seems), and lifting weights. I love to watch sports, and I am a huge Denver Broncos fan. I also love my Arizona Wildcats for better or for worse.
