This is a nonprofit organization that provides financial and emotional aid to children suffering with head injuries. I have been involved with this group since the spring of 2016 after I suffered a traumatic brain injury from a bike accident. This organization helped me tremendously with my recovery, now I do my part to spread awareness about head injuries through fundraisers, and public speaking events. What I love most however, is getting the opportunity to visit the children in the hospital personally and share my recovery story with them and their families. I often use my art skills to draw a personal piece of artwork for the child out of sympathy.

As the head lifeguard it is my responsibility to enforce rules and regulations to both the members, as well as the other lifeguards. I am obligated to ensure members of the facility are kept safe and happy to want to return, while also being a positive influence on the rest of the lifeguards.

For the summer of 2018, I worked as a lifeguard at Founders Pool through the City of Dripping Springs. While working at this facility, I was also working as head lifeguard for the Springs Family YMCA during the same time Frame

I worked as a seasonal lifeguard for the City of Austin Aquatics Division for 3 summers. During my time here I developed many skills such as proper communication skills, and being able to work under stressful situations. I received multiple positive write ups from my supervisors because of the hard work and professionalism I'd bring to work everyday.
