Quality Manager
CurrentQuality Manager: As a quality manager my role is to test our software to ensure it is free from bugs, intuitive to figure out, accessible to a wide range of users and is a joy to use. I work to make sure our end users can focus on their patients problems, not their systems. Usability Advisor: As a Usability Advisor, I work with developers as they are creating new functionality to ensure it is of high quality. I review the development and documentation and ensure it is consistent with similar areas and that it’s actions and layouts will make sense to our end users. Team Lead: As a team lead I manage a team of three other quality managers to manage their weekly work and support their growth and development. This entails meeting with them weekly to go over the biggest priorities and to share opportunities with them. We also meet quarterly to review their work and trajectory at the company. Testing Captain: As a testing captain I review the current work which needs to be completed and forecast what we will be able to accomplish in our quarterly releases. I also review testing done by members of our team to ensure it is of high quality and communicate growth areas.
