I am a passionate black queer interested in pursuing a more equitable society through all facets of my life- personal, academic, and professional. As a recent Masters graduate from the University of Chicago, I am looking to continue pursuing a career of inclusion and diversity in new environments. At the University of Chicago I have worked as an LGBTQ Student Life Graduate Assistant and Center for Identity + Inclusion Building Manager to produce and facilitate intersectional programming, trainings, and community collaborations. During my undergraduate schooling I earned two degrees: a B.S. in Psychology & B.A. in Humanities, History of Culture, because I felt neither alone gave me a fully nuanced perspective on the complexity of the human experience and society. While in school I worked with diverse populations in the Leadership Department and as a Resident Advisor, educating myself and others on issues of culture, social justice, and how to live and work with one another. I have, and will, consistently work and volunteer in collaborations and independent initiatives in pursuit of equity and justice. All of my experiences point toward one common thread- a dedication for diversity and inclusion, and I'm looking for my next opportunity.
