Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities: * Manage and conform timelines containing multiple sequences.* Prepare and edit minicuts of sequences for client approval.* Export sequences for internal review on a weekly basis.* Maintain the editorial database tracking render lengths and adjusting cut lengths according to client updates.* Request elements and scans from the client editorial for shot use.* Output sequence movie files, QT’s, and EDLs for inter-departmental use.* Provide visual references for production, artists, supervisors, etc.* QC Editorial client deliverables and prepare avid media for upload.* Import consolidated media from client.* Handle show wrap-up including: preparing showreel material, finals reel, allocating artist demo material.* Assemble various showreel material for internal and external outputs such as Client Bidding Reels, VES submission reels, and more.

As a VFX Editor it is my responsibility supporting every department throughout the pipeline and maintaining the integrity of the edits, managing multiple project timelines, and effectively communicating editorial changes.Some of my core responsibilities:* Establishing sequence edits and insert multi-channel and multi-layer EXRs into the editing timeline.* Directing client/internal reviews including dailies.* Effectively communicating any editorial changes.* Ensure both the production database, as well as shots cuts into timelines are maintained with count-sheets and lineups.* Prepare sequence edits for client approval.* Perform shot specific color corrections and effects such as Timewarping plates when required.* Problem-solve to achieve the best possible results.Examples of my skills include:* Excellent problem solving skills including the ability to work under tight deadlines* Great written and oral communication skills including strong interpersonal skills.
