I first got into video production and film editing because I enjoy taking a variety of unfinished elements -- video clips, sound bites and graphical elements -- that on their own, mean little to nothing, and turning that into a story or a broader picture that people can connect with. Being a photojournalist at WKOW 27 news allowed me to develop those skills, and at Dynavap, I expanded my skills and helped design a company brand for an industry leading company. Now I help tell the stories of everyday people with my work as a Video Producer at Lee Enterprises. I started at University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 2013, after graduating from Burlington High School in southeastern Wisconsin. I graduated with a bachelors degree in Radio/TV/Film and a greater appreciation for all the different aspect of video production. During my time at UW-Oshkosh, I helped my peers bring their projects to life. I developed a style of taking raw B-roll footage and sound, and turning it into a TV show or a short film that my teammates could be proud of. I continue that passion through my freelance work as a wedding videographer, and at Lee Enterprises as a Video Producer.
