In my role as Customer Service Assistant on the Service Desk, my primary roles include processing purchases for customers and processing returns and refunds. Other duties include: - Processing customer layby, including scanning items, wrapping and then scanning in fixtures in stock room- Assisting customers on Kodak Photo Machines and making various photo orders such as Photobooks and Canvases - Assist customers with finding stock on shop floor and stock room- Process online orders and communicate availability to customers- Communicate with other Kmart stores to organise store-to-store transfers- Keep the entertainment section of the store clean and assist with presentation in other parts of store- Help out in other departments such as checkouts and loading dock when required - Sort customer returns into sections to then be placed back on shop floor- Replenish shop floor with low or returned stock

As part of my university degree, I am currently completing 200 hours of industry placement with the Carlton Football Club in their Community Department as part of the Community Education Program Team.Working with the Community and Diversity Officer's, the team's main role of the team is to run the Carlton Respects Program in schools in the Northern Corridor of Melbourne, a program aimed at preventing violence against women and gender stereotyping whilst promoting gender equality and using sport as a means to do so.Other roles included: - Assisting on match day carrying out tasks such as Guard of Honour, escorting guests to and from function and activations aimed at raising awareness towards the Carlton Football Club and the Carlton Respects brand- Analyse and enter data taken in classroom sessions in Microsoft Excel- Communicate with other team members to ensure all equipment was brought to schools- Upholding a professional brand while wearing the Carlton uniformAs a part of the internship experience, I also got the chance to work with the Supporter Engagement Officer to assist in the setup and running of the Carlton Junior Member Clinics. The purpose of the clinics was to provide the members and the parents with an amazing experience at the club to help retain memberships in future years.
